A Stumbling congregation needs clarity about its mission, purpose, core values, and vision. Management of programs, ministries, activities, plus financial and facilities resources are their focus. The leadership wants a short-term fix but not a long-term solution. They need a spiritual and strategic journey but do not have the necessary readiness for change. They lack the capacity to be strong or soaring yet wish they could achieve it.
It is sad but true that we have so many churches in South Carolina that fit this cartoon. Lord help us!
